The AHSN Network has launched a new national digital gateway, specifically tailored for innovators in health and social care, plus a new podcast giving NHS insights into where innovators can help.

The Innovation Exchange digital gateway contains NHS challenges from around the country to respond to, case studies to learn from, funding opportunities and links to other useful organisations in the health innovation sector.

All of the AHSN Network’s key commercial leads are in the new directory, to make it easy to know who to contact, and innovators can register with their local Academic Health Science Network in order to get support from local experts based in one of the 15 regional teams.

The new podcast provides NHS insights into where innovators can help. The latest podcast episode focuses on cancer and features award-winning author Dr Liz O’Riordan, a breast surgeon with recurrent breast cancer. Liz talks about innovation needs from both a patient and clinical perspective. Three innovators in the field; Skin Vision, Ibex and Vine Health also join the podcast to outline their products and tell their story so far.
