Some of you may have noticed that we are experiencing a few technical difficulties with our website which are also affecting our email addresses. We are working to resolve the issues but in the interim we can be contacted via temporary email addresses using the format “firstnamelastname@medcitylondon.com”. The general office email is office@medcitylondon.com.

New report reveals demand for life sciences space in London

London’s booming life sciences sector is driving an increasing demand for specialist business space, according to a new report commissioned by MedCity. The snapshot study of current demand reveals a need for at least 250,000 sq ft of workspace, focused in particular around four key areas, and makes six recommendations on how to meet demand.

Imperial White City business space – open soon

Offering the opportunity to co-locate with one of the worlds leading universities, Imperial College London’s 11 storey Translation & Innovation Hub opens in July 2016 at the new White City campus, with future buildings including the Michael Uren Biomedical Engineering Hub and the Molecular Sciences Research Hub.

Jellagen raises £1.5m through Angels in MedCity

Medtech company Jellagen Pty Ltd has raised over £1.5m in a funding round led by Angels in MedCity, London Business Angels and Finance Wales. The company uses jellyfish to develop next generation collagen biomaterial that is safer and more versatile than current sources.
